On August 12, 2026, a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) visited Fujian Yamei Industry & Trade Co., Ltd. in Fujian Province for an on-site inspection and exchange, conducting in-depth discussions on potential procurement cooperation regarding Long-Lasting Insecticidal Mosquito Nets (LLINs). The management of Yamei Industry & Trade warmly welcomed the delegation and accompanied them throughout the visit.
The delegation toured Yamei’s production workshops, warehousing and logistics center, and quality testing laboratories, gaining a detailed understanding of the complete production process for LLINs—from raw material procurement, textile processing, to finished product packaging. Representatives of Yamei introduced the company’s technological expertise and production capacity in the field of insecticide-treated mosquito nets.
After the tour, both sides held a symposium. The ICRC representatives noted that China’s manufacturing sector has continued to improve in recent years, with high-quality products and competitive prices, making China an important market for international humanitarian procurement. Yamei’s technical strength and production capability in LLIN manufacturing left a positive impression on the delegation.
